Our mission at African Wildlife Initiative (AWI) is to help stop elephant and rhino poaching in Africa .
People ask us, “What lies ahead for Team AWI?” Although stopping any amount of poaching is a tremendous help, we at Team AWI are not satisfied with stopping poaching in just one area. As funds become available the African Wildlife Initiative will acquire more helicopters and expand our anti-poaching patrols in the CAR and other African countries.

Our mission at African Wildlife Initiative (AWI) is to help rescue child sex slaves and child soldiers, and stop elephant and rhino poaching in Africa.
People ask us, “What lies ahead for Team AWI?” Although stopping any amount of child sex trafficking
and poaching is a tremendous achievement, we at Team AWI are not satisfied with stopping it in just one area. As funds become available African Wildlife Initiative will acquire more aircraft and equipment and expand our child rescue and counter poaching operations to other African countries.
